My friend, Cathi Schwalbe, asked me to submit to Art-in-Place. Here is my submission. The idea of the show is to exhibit work in your front yard. This is my little installation at Casa Rancheros of Westmont, Illinois.

The base is a garden hose, woven into a vessel. The 11 ceramic pieces are different clays (stoneware, black clay, & a Laguna Blend) that were fired in various ways. Two of the pieces have a clear glaze, while most of them have an oxide surface. I like the diversity of the surfaces.
Examples of this ceramic series.
